This is a course that is offered by Lumen Learning. Although a course, it can easily be used as a textbook and has multiple links to OERs, including readings and videos. Lumen Learning’s mission is to make great learning opportunities available to all students, regardless of socioeconomic background.

Examines American literary works from the late-nineteenth century to the present, emphasizing the ideas and characteristics of American national literature. Involves critical reading and writing.
