The Chemistry LibreTexts library is a principal hub of the LibreTexts project, which is a multi-institutional collaborative venture to develop the next generation of open-access texts to improve postsecondary education at all levels of higher learning. The LibreTexts approach is highly collaborative where an Open Access textbook environment is under constant revision by students, faculty, and outside experts to supplant conventional paper-based books. LibreTexts are custom developed for individual instructors/classes and schools. The Modules in the Core supplement the LibreTexts.

American River College is a California community college located in the unincorporated area of Sacramento, California in northern Sacramento County, California. This course is an intensive survey of general, organic, and biological chemistry specifically designed for nursing majors and other health related fields. Topics include general chemistry, organic chemistry, and biological chemistry as applied to the chemistry of the human body. The book that was put together here is designed for that.
