Astronomers Without Borders (AWB) with sponsorship from Google is developing a STEM Educational Program to watch a spectacular total eclipse of the sun on August 21, 2017 that will grace the daytime skies across the continental U.S.A. along a narrow path from Oregon to South Carolina. AWB invites schools, libraries, museums, across the U.S.A. to register for the program. This program particularly seeks educational institutions in underserved communities including inner cities, Native American indigenous Nations, military installation, children's cancer hospitals, as well as isolated rural communities.
