This site includes two eloquently produced simulations about secondary growth and transpiration in plants by Nate Finney.  The simulations are well-done and show fun details about secondary growth as well as tranpiration as cartoons.  The simulations were developed with biology instructors at Santa Rosa Junior College.  Details of the processes are shown to provide a good visualization of these concepts and provide a quick and easy way to explain in the classroom.
