I think this could be an engaging exercise for high school students. However, in teaching and introductory course in management at the college level, I do not think this would work as effectively as at the high school level. I find that the management process (planning, organizing, leading, controlling) is really not challenging to grasp at the college level and that the time that would be required for this exercise could be better used for more challenging concepts. This exercise might be useful in examining concepts related to teamwork, synergy, and communication at the college level.
