Material Detail
Lindsay Wildlife Museum
The Lindsay Wildlife Museum features changing art and natural history exhibits, classes for children and adults, and a discovery room with hands-on activities for children. The museum features close encounters with many live, non-releasable wild animals such as an eagle, hawk, fox, snake and mountain lion. An on-site wildlife hospital treats more than 6,000 native California animals every year. The website provides education on living in harmony with our wildlife neighbors, solving common wildlife problems, and what to do if you find an injured wild animal. An introduction to the museum's wildlife ambassadors is also available online, as is information on wildlife websites and adopting an animal. The museum is also surrounded by demonstration gardens that reflect the overall theme of living with nature.
