The Nanotech Academy Activity C: Introduction to Nanotechnology and Cleanroom Suit Race
This lesson plan from the Nanotechnology Applications and Career Knowledge (NACK) Center introduces students to the scale that nanotechnology is based upon. Introducing the concept of the scale helps students understand why nanotechnology is important as well as the general concept of �nano.� The activity should take about 30 minutes and requires audiovisual equipment and seating. After an audiovisual presentation, the students may volunteer to participate in a cleanroom suit race. This and all other resources from the NACK Center require a fast, easy, free log-in.
