Silicon Crystal Origami

This YouTube video, created by�Southwest Center for Microsystems Education (SCME), is an animation which shows the viewer how to make an origami 3-D crystal from a template developed by Jack Judy at UCLA. Through this animation, "the 3-D crystal allows you to "see" the different planes of a silicon crystal, their Miller indices and some of their properties." This activity can be found in the Crystallography Learning Module, which can be accessed from the SCME website. This animation was developed by the Southwest Center for Microsystems Education (SCME).�
