Des Moines University provides this short introductory course, which allows the user to develop a basic understanding of the origin and composition of medical terms. The course is divided into thirteen sections based on the different systems of the body (circulatory, nervous, digestive, respiratory, urinary, reproductive and musculoskeletal) and also defines words pertaining to cancer and medication.
