The National Institute on Drug Abuse provides this well designed and informational website on the Science of Drug Abuse and Addiction. The website is conveniently divided into the appropriate audiences including researchers and health professionals, parents and teachers, and students and young adults. The site provides a vast amount of information which includes a wide array of educational materials about the effects of different drugs, how to identify drug abuse, and treatment options. Also handy is a quick pick list on the right hand side of the home page. This provides a list of common "Drugs of Abuse" as well as "Related Topics" such as Drug Testing, Prevention Research, and Trends & Statistics. Resources are also available in Spanish.
