Exploratorium: After School

The Exploratorium aims to bring science and math enrichment activities into out-of-school time. Fewer and fewer students are following academic and career paths into science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) at the same time that the nation's economy is becoming increasingly dependent on a STEM-literate workforce. Out-of-school learning experiences are critical for generating interest, engagement, and capacity to know and do science. Explore some of our many resources: hands-on activities, digital videos, professional-development, materials program, support resources, research, publications, concept maps, teaching tips.
