Careers in Manufacturing

This learning activity from The Mechatronics Education Center's Project SHINE widens students' understanding of the manufacturing industry, including learning about specific jobs in industry. Through researching a specific business (the example used is in the health care industry), students will begin to more deeply understand products and services offered by the company, a general profile of the company, skills required for various jobs and more. The activity is designed as a 14-21 day unit, intended for use as a long-term class project.
