VPython

VPython

VPython is a 3D programming language developed at Carnegie Mellon University that is useful for presenting visualizations of various physical phenomena. VPython is free and open-source. It includes: the Python programming language, an enhanced version of the Idle interactive development environment, and "Visual", a Python module that offers real-time 3D output, and is easily usable by novice programmers. The program is available for Windows, Macintosh and Linux.
