Material Detail
Department of Pathology Online Case Studies
Presented by the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, these case studies detail the patient history, findings, and diagnoses of over 500 cases. The cases range from 5-month-old twins with Zellweger syndrome to an 87-year-old woman with malignant melanoma. In the individual case, the diagnosis is presented on a page separate from the history and findings in order to allow students to diagnose the case themselves. This is an excellent resource for students and teachers alike. Students will find it helpful for studying clinical pathology and educators can adapt these cases or use them directly as teaching tools in the classroom. The collection is organized both by patient diagnosis and patient history.
