The National Council for Geographic Education

The National Council for Geographic Education (NCGE) is an international organization that emphasizes the importance of geographic education at all age levels – in school and out. They boast a membership of "teachers, professors, students, and other individuals who believe in the importance of geography, both in and out of school." NCGE distributes two widely-known and well-subscribed journals, the Journal of Geography and The Geography Teacher.
