A Case Study of an Oil Pipeline Rupture and Microbial Action on the Spill
The Advanced Technology Environmental and Energy Center (ATEEC) presents this instructional module on bioremediation of contaminants in the environment. The example of an oil spill near Bemidji, Minnesota is highlighted: by looking at an example from real life, students can gain a better understanding of the causes of such an accident and environmental considerations.
