In an earlier study conducted by the Minger Foundation, it was learned that there is a significant gap in providing fire safety information on campuses to students with disabilities. The Foundation was awarded a Fire Prevention & Safety Grant by the Department of Homeland Security to develop online fire safety training programs that would help to fill this gap.

The Minger Foundation has put together a series of short videos, featuring students with disabilities, talking about fire safety from their points of view. These videos are available online for you to use as well as a Guide for Teaching Fire Safety to Students with Disabilities.
