American Academy of CPR and First Aid offers online CPR, First Aid, Bloodborne Pathogen, Basic Life Support and AED courses for the general public as well as medical professionals needing certification or wishing for a skills refresher. All course materials and tests are free of charge. Tests take approximately 20-30 minutes. A certification document may be purchased to demonstrate competence to an employer, organization or other party. A single certification costs $14.99, a second certification costs $10.00 and additional certifications cost $5.00.  CPR and First Aid validations are good for two years. Bloodborne Pathogens validations are good for one year.
