The website includes animated interactive videos of the cell, cell membrane, photosynthesis, mitosis, meiosis, cell anatomy, evolution, and the Krebs cycle. One of my favorite features of the website is the evolution section. In this section there is a movable time slider. As you move the time slider, the time line shows the various eras in which things first evolved and appeared on the earth. This website would be useful when studying the anatomy of the cell and evolution.

This website is an excellent tool for both students and teachers to use when studying evolution. Teachers can use this site for professional development courses, lesson plans, classroom case study videos and teaching strategies. The website also includes simulations, animations as well as videos that students can watch and have a discussion about afterwards. The website also includes an online library of articles related to evolution.

This site includes a wealth of information about genetics, DNA and heredity. The website is interactive, including explanations of concepts, a glossary, various animations, a photo gallery, videos, problems, and helpful links. This website could be used as supplementary material during a mini lesson. The site also includes a "Weed to Wonder" feature, which includes information of how human directed evolution lead to the domestication of corn. In addition the language used on the website is simple and would be suitable for an audience of high school students. Students can also access this website at home.

This is an online tutorial about the anatomy of the human brain. The website is divided into two sections, the "Human Brain Anatomy Study Module" and the "Human Brain Anatomy Quiz Module. The study module includes a description of each structure of the brain and after each section there is an interactive quiz. In the "Quiz Module" the students can take quizzes and even rebuild the brain. This website would be an excellent resource for students to use when studying the human body.

This is an online simulation of genetic drift, adaptation, speciation, extinction, phylogenetic, sexual selection, mutation, gene flow, and genetics. For each topic their is background information and a simulation. Their is also a tab for setting the parameter. The students can use this to manipulate different variables and see how they affect each other. This website would be suitable for an AP Biology class or a 12th grade elective course.
