Communication & Collaboration

#1: WebEx

During the pandemic of Covid-19, there was a massive demand of online activities such as online lectures, meeting and people connecting. WebEx has been one of the most used platform so far by servicing both app users and website newbies. Moreover, there is no need of account registration to establish a meeting.

I had such wonderful experience with this platform for my online lectures back in 2020. User friendliness and professional format are the most suitable keywords for WebEx.

#2: Linkedin

Recently, I have decided to reinvest into my Linkedin profile. Several years ago, I started to use it without realizing it could be such a giant in terms of social network for business people. I will definitely recommend people to join Linkedin because it generates more opportunities for job seekers; however, I wonder if there are too personal connections via Linkedin. Connecting people and discovering great potential colleagues are amazing. Meanwhile, we have to be careful and try not being so personal because Linkedin’s references sometimes skip necessary assessment towards job interviewees.

Personally, I am enjoying the benefits from Linkedin and it shall contribute even more for my job orientation and career. As a job seeker, I hope that it can create more chances for people without taking away the same vacancies of worthy applicants.
