About Me

Hi! My name is Alice Zheng. I am a Rockville High School student of 2025. I would say I'm an extrovert most of the time but I would probably closed to being an extroverted ambivert. I love goofing off with my friends or just hanging out in silence while we each do our own things. I will explore anything interesting and find out how anything works once I'm curious. I am determined in anything I set my mind to and love a good competition in sports or games.

As for my hobbies, I don't even know how many I have. I love to pick up random things and skills I'm curious about and work on them until I succeed. Sometimes I put it off for a while and pick it back up. The question that ponders me is why do I sometimes get better? I think it might be because my brain processed what I couldn't the first time but who knows? I love playing badminton and volleyball but I haven't in a while. I also took up crocheting and embroidering at some time as I wanted to know how it worked. I like biking in the forest and am currently trying to learn longboarding. 

I also like walking in the forest or anywhere outside to take in the scenery and some rocks, shells, or other interesting things I may collect.

I love animals and breathtaking scenery.  As a child and now, I have wanted to learn more about the different species and how we can better protect the environment. I want to make a change to preserve the natural habitat, but also better the world as a whole. I have long heard about climate change, global warming, and bits about some other global issues. As these also affect humans and are mostly caused by man, I want to work towards assisting a change for the better in some way.
