BINGOvernment is a classic version of the game BINGO adapted by Dr. Joe Bisz (CUNY) for educational purposes. See joebisz.com for more information about Dr. Bisz, co-author Dr. Tori Mondelli of The Educator's Guide to Designing Games and Creative-Active Learning Exercises: The Allure of Play (Teacher's College Press, 2023). In 2022-23, the University of Missouri American Government Instructors modified the template for use with their students as a playful icebreaker.

Please contact Dr. Zach Lang at andersonunviersity.edu about modifications.
BINGOvernment was developed as part of a broader game-based learning grant to enhance American government instruction at the University of Missouri. This project would not have been possible without the Truman School of Government and Public Affairs, the Teaching for Learning Center, and the Kinder Institute on Constitutional Democracy.
