Lesson 1: Introduction to Apologetics

By the end of this Lesson you should be able to:

1. Articulate why it is important to be able to defend our faith.
2. Explain some of the current issues in our post-Christian society related to apologetics.

1. Read ch. 1-4 of Morey
2. Attend the optional zoom session on Tuesday evening where I will introduce the subject of apologetics, or view the recording.
3. Reflection Assignment 1: After completing the reading and viewing the lecture, write a 1-2 page reflection paper in response to the prompt, "Why is it important for Christians to understand and engage in apologetics?" Use at least one scripture to support your answer, and be sure to cite the reading and notes. Your paper is due on Sunday.
