Mission

Conversations in Literature & Culture is a video podcast where Hampton University students, faculty, and invited  writers, scholars, and creative artists engage in discussion about humanities issues that raise historical, societal, and cultural awareness.

Conversations in Literature & Culture is an opportunity for students to hone their research and interviewing skills and  for faculty to mentor students and share their scholarship. Invited guests, in discussing their work, will inspire audiences and participants alike.

This project will make a significant impact on teaching and learning within the department of English and Foreign Languages in the School of Liberal Arts and Education at Hampton University, serving as a space for interdisciplinary dialogue.

Conversations in Literature & Culture has been made possible in part by the National Endowment for the Humanities. Any views, findings, conclusions, or recommendations expressed in these episodes do not necessarily represent those of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
