CSU Instructor Open Textbook Adoption Portrait
Abstract: This open textbook is being utilized in a Engineering Technology course for undergraduate or graduate students by Dr. Jai Hong at California State University, Los Angeles. The open textbook provides students with on-line and supplement resources which are related to curriculum activities to help students to learn and save expenses. The main motivation to adopt an open textbook was to have students learn by utilizing variety of available open-access curriculum materials at a free of charge. Most student access the open textbook in on-line such as CANVAS.
Course Title and Number: Introduction to Engineering Design, ETEC 1100
