Reading Apprenticeship Inspired Assignment or Lesson

The activity will be introduced to students the first week of the semester after students have become familiar with my syllabus, the course layout and with Canvas. The goal is to have students practice talking to the text before reading scholarly articles.

All student work can be recorded onto the worksheet. An instructor can evaluate the student's process and clarify confusion

Student's capture every thought by making comments, asking questions and making connections between sentences.

This is a asynchronous activity designed  for students to complete in pairs.
