What are Open Educational Resources?

Miao et al. (2019) defines Open Educational Resources (OERs) as “teaching, learning and research materials that make use of appropriate tools, such as open licensing, to permit their free reuse, continuous improvement and repurposing by others for educational purposes.” OERs also include work that is in the public domain and are free to use by the public.
