Selecting Quality OERs to enhance the Teaching & Learning Process

Purpose

This presentation is intended to help educators gain basic knowledge and guidelines about evaluating and selecting quality Open Educational Resources. After reviewing this presentation, it is hoped that educators will be equipped with the necessary information to select quality OERs which will be used to enhance the teaching and learning process. This lesson will also contribute to the existing body of information related to technology and education.

Context

This lesson is for educators who would like to integrate OERs in their classrooms and need additional information to evaluate and select appropriate OERs that are properly aligned to learning objectives. 

Criteria

This lesson will be evaluated using an online quiz (summative assessment).  This activity will be used to determine the learners' understanding of this lesson. 


Details

This lesson is an asynchronous module. However, learners are expected to complete the lesson within 3 weeks (at least one topic per week).
