Appendix: Templates of Assignments

Listed here are templates for various types of assignments your instructor will assign.

1. Case-Base Learning Examples:   You will respond to a representation of a real-life situation that simulates problem-solving experiences.

2. Collaborative PowerPoint:             In this activity, you’ll work collaboratively to develop a comprehensive slide deck focusing on a specific module topic. Begin by selecting one prompt and becoming the 'subject expert' through the assigned readings, supplemental materials, and your own independent research. Then, design a slide or a set of slides and record yourself explaining the content. This team-based approach will not only deepen your understanding but also give you the opportunity to teach and learn from your peers.

3. Learner Agency Reflection Journal Entry: You will reflect on the What, How, and Why of Your Learning throughout this module.

4. Learner Agency Reflections:   You will reflect on the topics in each topic and react to specific prompts to envision how you would apply the UDL principles and considerations.

5. UDL Alignment Form:                                    Using this chart form, you will demonstrate specific considerations of the UDL framework with course design, instructional materials, and assessments. Used with project below.

6. UDL Inspired Project:             Completing this project allows you to apply the 3 UDL principles and/or several considerations.
