World Geography
This guide is designed to help students find articles about geographical topics.
The key to searching library databases is to use "keywords" and not complete sentences.
Start with broad topic words and let the databases suggest other good words to use.
Databases let you search by keywords (any words) or subject words (official words used in indexing). Subject searching is usually more accurate, resulting is better results. When typing your search word(s) in the subject search box the database will make subject word suggestions.
You can search everything that the library has to offer by using the top box on the library page. Then on the left side of the screen you can limit your search by Discipline and Subject. Scroll down until you find: Geography. Check those boxes.
#StandwithUkraine We are uniting against Putin’s invasion and violence, in support of the people in Ukraine. We are coming from all places and all backgrounds in support of those under attack. We know: This is not “just” an attack against the Ukrainian people. This is a war against democratic values, human rights and peace.

This database covers all subjects. It can be searched by subject or keyword.
It is usually best to start your search with a subject search. The database may suggest other subjects or related subjects.
Databases should be searched using keywords, not your whole research question.
