This website tutorial was developed by Dr Lesley S. J. Farmer, Professor of Library Media at California State University Long Beach. Dr. Farmer also manages the ICT Literacy Project at MERLOT. 

Dr. Farmer earned her MS in Library Science at UNC Chapel Hill, and earned her Adult Education doctorate at Temple University. Dr. Farmer has written over 30 books and hundreds of articles and chapters on information science and educational technology. She has also garnered over 30 awards for her professional contributions.
