Submitting Your Peer Review Report to MERLOT

Welcome

Welcome to Module 3, the final session of GRAPE Camp. After completing this section, you will be ready to be a MERLOT Peer Reviewer and ready to begin peer reviewing in your area of specialization!

Before starting this module, make sure you have completed Modules 1 and 2, as they will help you to understand this third and final part. You will also need to have completed your MERLOT Peer Review Report of "Sexual Harassment: The Three Types."

At the conclusion of this module, you should know:

  • How to access My Workspace
  • How to access Material Workspace
  • How to upload your Peer Review Report into your Workspace for the material you have reviewed.
  • The next step to becoming a MERLOT Peer Reviewer.

Module Activities

This module only has two videos.

  • In Part A, you will learn how to submit your Peer Review Report to MERLOT and what happens afterward.
  • In Supplement 4 you will understand the MERLOT Peer Review Process workflow.

After you have viewed the videos, complete the Assignments on the far right.

Assignments 

Your assignment at the end of Module 2 was to complete a Peer Review Report for "Sexual Harassment: The 3 Types." Now that you have completed the Peer Review Report, it is time to upload it to your Workspace. 

1. Send an email to your Facilitator to advise that you are ready to upload your MERLOT Peer Review Report.

2. Log in and click on My Workspace.

3. Submit your Peer Review Report following the techniques you learned in Part A of in this Module.

4. Your Peer Review Report will be returned with comments.

5. At that time you will be asked:

  • to complete a short evaluation of your experience

  • to indicate in which discipline you want to review

  • to provide an address to which to send your GRAPE Camp Certificate

6. When you reply you will be copied on an email to the Editor of your discipline, introducing you.

7. The Editor will assign your first review and mentor you through the process. 

8. After completing the first review in your discipline, the Editor will provide feedback and will also ask you how frequently you wish to review.

Summary 

Congratulations! You have now completed GRAPE Camp and are ready to peer review for MERLOT.
