MERLOT GRAPE Camp Self-Study
MERLOT is committed to improving effectiveness in teaching and learning through expanding access to high-quality materials that can be incorporated into faculty-designed courses. To ensure high quality, materials available through MERLOT are peer reviewed. This short orientation will prepare you for reviewing MERLOT materials and will help you understand the steps involved.
MERLOT Peer Reviews consist of evaluating these 3 criteria:
- Quality of Content
- Potential Effectiveness as a Teaching Tool
- Ease of Use
This GRAPE Camp Self-Study will walk you through the steps in the MERLOT Peer Review Process in three Modules. The information and supporting documents you will need to ensure your success as a MERLOT Peer Reviewer will be provided.
Get Started Now!
1. Enroll - Please email the Facilitator to advise that you are participating in this training.
2. Join MERLOT - Make sure you are a Member of MERLOT. It is easy to join - just click on the link and sign up to Join MERLOT!
3. When you are ready, start with Module 1 by clicking the link and work through Modules 2 and 3.
