Project Abstract:
Our certified virtual training will be based on interactive learning activities designed to prepare ELT educators for implementing an evidence-based teaching skills. Each participant will engage in a learning process which includes pre-work, a pre-assessment, an online skill-development session , post - assessment and follow-up support.
There are a number of advantages in professional training of educators , the first of which is attributed to members of the school community through:
- Increasing the speed of teachers' response to developments.
- Updating their knowledge constantly .
- Deepening education practices by applying and experimenting with specific strategies in different situations.
- Generating new hypotheses to develop and test work.
- Bridging the performance gap between the participants.
- Learning about different concepts of a single issue.
- Learning about various practices in different environments.
As for the second, it concerns schools:
- To effectively confront the challenges that hinder school work.
- Addressing chronic and severe problems related to teaching/learning cultures.
- Becoming a high-quality learning institution for all its educators.
- Providing more and more diverse sources to educators seeking to implement , and the values, convictions and attitudes that they hold and believe in .

ELT-Training Central provides Training of Educators (TOE) involved in the teaching of English as a second or foreign language that will build the knowledge and skills needed to making accurate and appropriate teaching adaptions for selected teaching methodologies, without compromising the core components of the educator's teaching realities . Adaptation is defined as making changes, additions, deletions, or substitutions to a teaching method or/techniques in order to make it more suitable for a particular classroom (s) and/or an institution's capacity. This guidance is provided in a condensed form during all TOEs, and in a more comprehensive format as a Program Enrichment Training delivered by experienced educators in the ELT field.
How do we Sustain TOEs Success?
- A critical component for sustaining a successful and impactful program is understanding our target audience and training objectives, not only the needs and risk factors relevant to our target population, but the environment in which a program will be implemented. This information will lay the foundation for building a successful program. This is why we worked extensively on planning our program success according to feasible stages .
Project Activities
Interactive, skills-based training
Project Outcomes
The training generally aims to advance the individuals working in all sectors and at all levels to prepare them for the real - life teaching settings to play their roles and perform their tasks with high efficiency .
General training objectives:
Developing the contemplative thinking skills of the trainees and their research capabilities through job researches, workshops and training courses
- To develop teachers' awareness of educational developments and understand modern trends and the foundations upon which they are based.
- To benefit from the experiences, knowledge and skills of human resources in developing the knowledge and skills of workers in the educational field.
- Educating educators of their different roles and providing them with knowledge and skills that enable them to perform those roles effectively and efficiently.
- Provide opportunities for them to understand the close relationship between theory and practice in education.
- To develop awareness among educators and the need to accept change and prepare for it, to make an effort to put educational changes into testing and experimentation
- To contribute to the process of development and educational novelty.
Inclusive Pedagogy Considerations
- Accessibility
- The course materials and tools address educators' learning and access needs via online platforms available to all.
- Universal Design for Learning principles (Representation, Engagement, and Expression) was considered while planning our training course.
- Affordability
- To ensure the sustainability and quality of our programs , TOEs charges affordable course fee in exchange of our services which span the professional development continuum from strategic planning, group dynamics, teaming, problem solving to a tailored guidance to meet the specific needs of an individual or group on one or multiple topics on teaching.
- Diversity
- Our pedagogical strategies support educators with diverse backgrounds and teaching policies. The program was designed to be utilized universally by ELT educators.

Professional Development Activities
Professional development activities included in this project is to engage our trainees in the Professional Learning Community (PLC) through :
- Webinars.
- Trainings.
- Conferences.
- Presentations.
- Describe strategies faculty used to engage in the Professional Learning Community (PLC).
Creating Community
Professional learning communities are considered one of the promising methods for improving educational systems, and a fundamental pillar of teacher professional development programs, which have developed their concept since the nineties. The school considers society and the main unit in creating effective transformations, and a systematic way to improve the performance of teaching, learning and school culture. We aim to design a professional learning community. A culture of isolation can be overwhelming where teachers do not work collaboratively.
A number of studies have shown the importance of cooperation between teachers and its impact on job satisfaction,as well as ,their sense of responsibility towards student learning, in addition to that knowledge and skills critical to learning lie in teachers ’experiences and practices, not in books and references. This requires opening channels of communication between teachers to exchange and share ideas to contribute to the development of teachers' skills and knowledge.
Project Summary
OTEs provides information sessions, skill-building training, technical assistance and consultation on a variety of teaching topics.
Unlike traditional webinars, our live virtual trainings offer our educators the opportunity to:
- Engage in meaningful pre-work to prime them for the training.
- Interact in real-time with our trainers and colleagues.

Project Reflection by Teams Involved
We believe that teachers are like farmers who take care of their seeds and trees to produce the best fruits and crops. It can give it all the basic and healthy materials it needs to grow.
Hence our need to train and equip teachers with the best means to ensure these seeds (our children) an educational and healthy environment for sound knowledge growth.

Lessons Learned
Today's world is fairly digital and there is a need to hop on the same train and to keep up with massive changes across disciplines. We are keen to the fact that virtual events have their limitations be it technical or personal. However , most people opt to online events because it is more convenient to them.
This is why we made sure that our launch pad offers programs designed on the basis of professional standards and, according to actual training needs of teachers and school leaders, scientifically built to achieve the vision of development in the school, and keep pace with educational developments so educators get the most out of their participation.
