Video Journal
Take notes for all assigned weekly videos. Journals must include the following

•  Four facts
• Three things you thought were interesting
• Two questions you have
  

Save your notes to your google doc journal. You will hand the journal in at the end of each month. The next due date is July 30th.

Completed Monthly Journal is worth 25 points total 

Hominid Slideshow 
Each student is assigned a hominid. Check The Jigsaw Group page to see which is assigned to you.
When you are done reading about your Hominid, you will create a slideshow to teach your groupmates about that Hominid. Discuss the adaptations your chosen Hominid has. What environment did the Hominid live in? How did your hominid adapt to the environment? What does your Hominid eat? What tools did they use? What is unique about this Hominid?
The slideshow must include:

Title Page
Definition of Adaptation
Quick facts about the hominid including: When and where the hominid lived, scientific name and common name

Environment & How the Hominid adapted to the environment
What tools the hominid used
What type of social group did the hominid live in?
Interesting traits of the hominid

I am looking for completeness, correct spelling and grammar, and creativity. Use the rubric found on the Rubric page to self-assess before you present.

You will use google powerpoint for this project. Share it with me and your Jigsaw groupmates during the zoom meeting.

Hominid Slideshow is worth 28 points

Weekly Exit Ticket 
Email me your exit ticket. You must write 100-150 word paragraph answering the following question: If all Hominid species were alive today, which would you prefer to be, and why? Make sure you discuss adaptations and why you think that Hominid's adaptations would be helpful in today's world. You may not pick Homo Sapiens Sapiens. This is due Friday July 3rd.

Exit tickets are worth 3 points.
