Materials: The materials you need will come in your cosmetology kit purchased at the beginning of cosmetology. If you need any additional materials or run out of supplies, they can be purchased at your local kit company, your local nail supply store, or Amazon.

Upon completion of this module students will be able to:

1.  Recognize the challenges of designing a sculptured nail.

2.  Use monomer and polymer in the correct proportions.

3.  Arrange the steps of the sculptured nail in the correct order.

4.  Demonstrate a sculptured nail for state board.

5.  Arrange a set up for the sculptured nail for state board.

6.  Assess their state board sculptured nail using a rubric.

7.  Critique the sculptured nails of two classmates.
