Experience

St. Vincent Hospital Food Service Worker   | Evansville, IN  |  March 2019-present

As a food service worker at St. Vincent Hospital, I work in the dietary call center to call and receive orders for patient meals, adhere to specific patient diets, deliver meal trays to patient rooms when needed, and wrap silverware for patient trays.

With this job, I have learned how to interact with coworkers in what can be a hectic environment, how different types of diets are associated with different food choices, and how to interact with patients in a professional manner.

All of these things that I have learned so far will be beneficial to me as a Dietitian in a clinical setting.

Facility Manager   | University of Southern Indiana RFW Center  |  January 2018-present

As a facility manager at the University of Southern Indiana's Recreation, Fitness, and Wellness Center, I assist professional staff in enforcing policies, managing other student staff through supervision and redirect up to 4 student employees. I attend all injuries and complete Injury Report forms, and complete Facility Manager reports. I supervise facility reservations and perform hourly rounds to ensure a safe and sound environment. I process all locker rentals, guest passes, bike checkouts, and money transactions. I perform fitness consultations and orientations as they come, and develop appropriate exercise programs for participants. I also maintain knowledge and changes in the field.

With this job, I have learned leadership skills through my management position, how to greet and interact with several kinds of people, and how to attend to someone who has a concern or problem.

As a Dietitian, this job will have helped me to develop my critical thinking skills and problem-solving skills, as well as my interaction with people.

 JW Equipment, LLC  |  Albion, IL  |  May 2017 — August 2018

As an office secretary at JW Equipment, I maintained many things in the office. I answered company phone calls, handled online banking, mailings, organized files, customer service, and performed office cleaning.

This secretarial job has taught me more of how to properly interact with a customer and/or client, working with other employees, document organization, money handling, and staying productive.

This job has taught me how to be organized with documentation and banking, which are two things that will be important wherever I work.

Self-Employed Business Owner | Taylor Nicole Photography | Albion, IL

January 2016 —Present

As an intermediate-advanced photographer, I currently provide photographic services for families and weddings. Within my business, I have prices that vary on the number of people included, the day, and estimation of editing time. After I finish a client's pictures, I give them the finished product to print as they please. I, however, still retain rights to the pictures I take.

Running a small business has taught me to have a hard work ethic, patience, focusing on customer satisfaction but by using my own skill/creativity, and doing the very best work that I can. I enjoy taking pictures in general, but it is nice to share my passion with other people while capturing a memory at the same time. This has taught me how to manage my own service/business at an early age.

Director of Enrollment Management Assistant | Wabash Valley College | Mt. Carmel, IL

June 2015 - May 2016

As an assistant to the Director of Enrollment at Wabash, I designed 15-20 official program brochures for each program WVC offered, designed several flyers for different WVC events, assisted with many WVC entertainment/recruitment events, and handled many of the office calls/mailings. As the assistant to enrollment, I also helped and gave my own campus tours for visiting students and family, and also helped in the Student Services Office when needed.

I learned so much from this job, and am very thankful to have had the opportunity. I obtained many skills from public speaking, organization, creativity, to leadership, productivity, and being a role model. This job not only gave me qualities of a professional, but also qualities I can use in my everyday life.
