Introduction
This resource is a website that can be used at secondary and tertiary level to help students understand the importance of academic integrity. This resource is a lab project for a course Design, Development and Evaluation of Digital Instructional Materials and is intended to promote and support responsible and honest researching as students retrieve information from a variety of sources for their academic projects.
This website will allow students to explore the concept academic integrity and expose them to the examples of different aspects of academic integrity. Emphasis will be placed on the value of using information and having respect for the original creator of the work whether that work is copyrighted or not. Ethical issues as they relate to academic integrity will also be addressed. At the end of each web page student will be able to reflect on their learning before view video clips relating to each sub-topic. At the end of the lesson students will engage in two activities: a written exercise and a diagnostic quiz.

At the end of this lesson students should be able to:
1. Define Academic Integrity.
2. List examples of Academic Integrity.
3. Demonstrate an understanding of the value of information in academia.
4. Explain the ethical issues involved in the use of information.
