Introduction
Digital technology and digital electronics allow us to manipulate all types of information as digits (1s and 0s) in order to store and manage the information more efficiently and effectively.
Why This Matters
Digital technology, including all forms of computers, has extended human capabilities by allowing us to manipulate and explore information in ever-faster, more flexible, and more creative ways. The information can be expressed through words, numbers, sounds, and images. By better understanding digital technology, we improve our control over information, our lives, and our world.
