 INTERNATIONAL PROFESSIONAL TRAVEL

As 2011 President of the IEEE Computer Society and now as Standing Committee Chair (CEO) of the IEEE Computer Society's signature COMPSAC conference, I have had the opportunity to travel to many countries and meet with and present and discuss diverse matters related to computer technology with administrators, faculty, and students of colleges and universities, and with corporate leaders and researchers in those countries. In addition, my own research and publications and my OEC board position have been extraordinarily valuable to me at these meetings.

The countries I have visited in the last 20 years include Canada, Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina, Peru, Chile, Mexico, Panama, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Belize, Guatemala, UK, Ireland, Iceland, Norway, Finland, Sweden, Estonia, Russia, Denmark, Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Switzerland, Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, India, Nepal, Israel, Jordan, Morocco, UAE, Japan, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Indonesia, Australia, and New Zealand.
