- The Kenneth I. Vanderberg Award for Excellence in Teaching (05/2021)
The award is in honor of Kenneth I. Vanderberg, former Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Cornerstone University and the first full-time professor within Cornerstone’s Professional & Graduate Studies Division. Ken taught a wide variety of courses in the subjects of business and management. The Vanderberg Teaching Excellence Award is intended to recognize PGS adjunct faculty from the business division who have established a reputation for excellence in teaching properly informed by scholarly research and professional service. The award is granted to individuals characterized by professional competency, personal humility, and godly character. Recipients are distinguished in equipping business professionals by providing an educational experience that is academically excellent, vocationally relevant, and Christ-centered.
