Pathway to Presidency
The purpose of this study is to determine if traditional colleges and universities should restructure their recruitment process to focus on hiring traditional college presidents who obtain the position through higher education administration hierarchy or to explore pursuing C.E.O’s or likewise (top corporate executives) for presidential positions to help increase financial success and obtain growth.

The theoretical framework consists of the theory that hiring a top corporate executive of a corporation such as a CEO would help improve the bottom line and financial success of a college or university.
