Strengths:: The story of Takakos adventure as a newcomer to Canada is in the form of
episodes/chapters with text and MP3 audio downloads. The story itself is
captivating and the recordings, authentic sound effects and all, make for
engaging listening practice.

The author is also in the process of adding the recording of an adventure story
for which .pdf files are already available on the site. The story is based on a
true one and involves a North Korean soldier who meets a South Korean woman and
their adventure. For each chapter the author provides an additional .pdf
document of comprehension questions that can be used both online and as
hardcopies in a live class.

Potential Effectiveness as a Teaching Tool
