This simulated Ti-89 appears to have the same functionality as a TI-89 handheld calculator.  This simulator can be used with any browser and, hence, can be accessed with a smartphone (using wifi or a data plan) with no required download.  The screen is divided between the calculator display and the simulated keypad.  Users have the ability to adjust the size of the screen or keypad by dragging the center bar.  This may be helpful to some users when viewing graphs.

This site is free to use and could be very helpful to students in that it would allow them to check solutions to homework/practice problems.  The graphing feature is nice for allowing students to visualize graphs, including 3D graphs and vector fields.  Students can use arrow keys to rotate 3D graphs.  The graphing features could also be used for in-class demonstrations.

Some users may be unfamiliar with syntax required for solving some problems.  For example, when evaluating definite integrals, the user will need to type in the function, the variable, the lower limit of integration, and the upper limit of integration.  Additionally, it is not immediately obvious how to use this simulation to graph 3D functions.  This application could be improved by providing a quick user manual or examples of use.

This simulated calculator is free and easy to use.   The display provides the look of the handheld Ti-89 graphing calculator. Someone who is familiar with actual Ti-89 calculator well can start using this tool immediately.   This is especially nice when using the site on a touch-screen device such as a smartphone.

A user manual or other form of instruction has not provided.  Users unfamiliar with some calculator features may need to google to determine the correct syntax for some calculations or to find directions for some features.
