The suggestions include compiling a list of strategies/tactics for the first class and crafting a statement of how your course meets learner-centered UID principles.

Key processes are introduced in a sequential manner so scaffolding of content can occur for the user. Content is presented and anchored by learning objectives. Content is presented followed by an activity followed by content followed by activity. There is a summary at the end of each section. This module has five main sections--Introduction, Classroom Management Issues, Setting Expectations, Community Building and Class Dynamic, and Resolving Issues and Managing Conflict.
Teacher candidates, in-service teachers, and administrators committed to professional development would have the background to be successful in this module.

The design of the module is clear and self-contained. Tabs at the top left indicate menu, resources, and transcripts (of presentation). The menu lists every specific section covered in the presentation. The menu items are hyper-linked for quick viewing or reviewing of any part of the module at any time. The resources provide pertinent, downloadable documents, references, and a print version of the entire module. Users are able to pause the presentation or move forward or backward as needed.
