Lockout Tagout Training Video
This 15-minute video is a training video on OSHA 1910.147, the Control of Hazardous Energy. The video discusses the elements of a complete lockout tagout program which includes: 1) Energy Control Procedure; 2) Training; 3) Lockout Tagout hardware; and, 4) Inspections. In addition, the steps of a proper lockout tagout procedure are demonstrated. The steps include: 1) Prepare and Announce Shutdown; 2) Machine or Equipment Shutdown; 3) Machine or Equipment Isolation; 4) Lockout Tagout Device Application; 5) Release Stored Energy; and, 6) Verification of Isolation. The lockout tagout procedure is required by OSHA to control hazardous energy and prevent serious workplace injury or death
