MALI COLLECTION (LAURA FRANKLIN & MOUSTAPHA DIACK)
This collection is designed for a Title VI grant awarded to Virginia Commonwealth Unversity and its partners in the project Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA),MERLOT and the MERLOT Africa Network and partners in Mali who will deliver lessons in Bambara and Malian culture.
This MERLOT is spearheaded by Dr. Laura Franklin (MERLOT World Langauage Editor and Co-director of MAN) and Professor Moustapha Diack (MERLOT Faculty Development and Director of the MERLOT Africa Network) collection will serve to highlight learning materials that will increase partner and participant knowledge of the region and the culture. This project is overseen by Ms. Koyan Diara, a MAN Digital scholar. Ms. Diara is a Malian Graduate student at Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA.
