A. While reviewing these materials in the peer reviews, honestly I just browsed them each for about 5-10 minutes. I basically checked the overview and read them all carefully. And then I checked the evaluations and observations section of each peer reviewed journal. I went over the strengths and concerns each for about 5 minutes. I mostly just read over the peer reviews and evaluations. B. The material is actually significant to learning because there are many different plotting programs that you can use to help you solve what you need to solve. All are good implementations that handle most situations very well. The user has good control over the appearance of the graphs. The package is very user friendly. C. It is a good teaching tool for engineering classes. The software is simple enough not to interfere with learning. Even if the student makes a mistake they are able to fix and learn from it. D. These programs and applications would be easy for users who are not over the age of 50 or 60 in my opinion. The step by step instructions are easy enough to follow as long as you know how to use a computer, for example, how to navigate pages with a mouse and use a keyboard. The learning curve is not very steep for these learning applications.
