http://www.nctm.org/: This site is very easy to surf and contains a large amount of useful strategies for high school math teachers. I was immediately drawn to the weekly problem. This is an excellent way to challenge oneself as well as challenge students. The tips for ending the school year are quite valid and useful. Rather than general resources which may or may not be applicable to a given course, these resources are geared to specific mathematical disciplines such algebra and statistics resources. One negative point I did find was that when I tried to read the article from Mathematics Teacher (a journal for Mathematics Teachers) I was not able to read more than the abstract because I am not a member of the website and if I want to read the article I would have to pay for it. The Higher Ed and Leaders page was disappointing due to the lack of information available. Most of the information was directed towards members only. The articles present are only available in appended form unless a person is a member of the NCTM. The only section that was interesting or possibly valid for an educator or student is the section, Research Briefs and Clips.
