Transparency International Website
Homepage of the Transparency Int'l Organization(TI).
Transparency International is the only international non-governmental organization devoted to combating corruption. This site does not expose individual cases. Rather, it focuses on trends and on prevention and reforming systems. The site notes that A principal tool in the fight against corruption is access to information. In that spirit, the T Web site offers many corruption surveys, indexes, and reports that rank countries according to various measurements of corruption. For example, one survery ranks countries in terms of the degree to which business people and country analysts perceive them to be the homes of bribe-takers. Other resources include a Corruption Fighters Tool Kit and a discussion of business principles for countering bribery.
